Assistant Manager / Manager
Vintage Engineering Public Company Limited (“VTE”), a Thai listed company with expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering and construction, is looking for a full-time business development expert to join our expanding Power & Utilities business unit. This is a role that will offer our candidate an international exposure in Power & Utilities business disciplines outside Thailand. The company currently has projects in Japan, Myanmar, Taiwan and the Philippines. Our long-term goal is to become Asia’s leading power and utilities developer. Successful candidate will be handling project during its development, whether it be a green field or a merger & acquisition deal, until its operational phase. The role requires a highly knowledgeable, responsible and organized person as he or she will be the main person to ensure the project execution progress in all aspects (feasibility study, contracting, financing, accounting, regulatory, and operational planning). The candidate will report directly to Business Development Unit Head and will have a chance to gain new experience from the emerging power & utilities business as well as work alongside with renowned international advisory firms. VTE’s Power & Utilities business development unit is a proactive and energetic team and we welcome like-minded professional who will play a key role to the Company’s success.
Responsibilities
Candidates can look forward to regular client contact, a role in business development and proposal writing/methodology creation. Key responsibilities as follow:
- Assist and support team in developing new projects
- Coordinate with partners or counterparties in developing projects
- Assist and support Business Development team and financial department in coordinating with banks to provide project information and loan process
- Engage in financial modeling and feasibility study in order to analyze and valuate investment returns
- Involve and coordinate with external advisers to conduct due diligence report
- Support and assist the team in collecting date and prepare information for management’s decision-making
- Prepare the report regarding SET announcement
- Prepare monthly analysis of financial statement of existing assets
- Monitor and follow up ongoing project
Qualifications
- Have a strong background in finance and accounting, familiar with financial instruments in money market, able to compose financial model, and able to analyze financial statements
- Have coordination skill, interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate in English
- Have experienced in related field (either finance, accounting, engineer, business administration) of at least 3 years
- Able to work under pressure and time constraint
- Proactive and possess systematic thinking
- Pleasant personality and a team
